Opera Hotel Zuerich

I recently stayed at Opera Hotel for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The newly renovated room was clean and modern, with neat features like a console touch screen to control room settings. The staff was generally helpful and friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a huge balcony on the top floor. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and attractions like the lake and old town. The breakfast included in the stay was a big plus, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

During my recent stay at Opera Hotel, I had an issue with the air conditioning in my room. However, the front desk staff quickly resolved the problem and even provided a luxurious fan as a temporary solution. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I loved the culture of giving at this hotel. They provided a free mobile phone, which was a nice touch. The TV in the room was a good size and had great quality. The staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful. For example, when I asked where to buy plug adapters, they loaned me two right away. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to the downtown area and the opera house.

It is situated near the famous Zuelich lake, the Opera House and the city centre, making it easy to explore the area with Christmas markets. The service was also outstanding with options like room service, car and bicycle hire, as well as limousine and shuttle services. The room amenities were superb, including a comfortable sitting area, in-room air conditioning, and soundproofed rooms, perfect for a good night's rest. I also appreciated the television with cable/satellite channels and the electric kettle provided for my convenience.

The room was very clean and beautifully updated, with a balcony that had a beautiful view. It was the perfect place for a romantic escape and we enjoyed bringing a bottle of wine and watching the activity on the streets. the amenities, decor, layout, and attention to details were all top-notch.

The bed was very low to the ground and not very comfortable. the Wi-Fi access was good, but not strong enough for us to transfer pictures from our camera to our iPad.

The hotel is conveniently located near the opera house and close to everything in the city. The staff is friendly and provides excellent recommendations for places to eat. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast offers a wide variety of options and the view from some rooms is magnificent.

Some minor dust spots were noticed in uneasily accessible places, which could be improved.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to the train station and other attractions. the lobby had a cozy ambiance and offered free refreshments, making it a pleasant place to wait or relax. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing good customer service. the rooms were modern and clean, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep.

One drawback was the inconvenience caused by the lock on the bathroom door being wobbly. Another issue was the thin and soft pillows, which may not be suitable for everyone's preference.

The location is excellent with Stadelhofen train station, Lake Zurich, Migros, and the Opera all just a few steps away. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area. The hotel is very clean and the deluxe room is huge compared to European standards.

Felt it like being home, no reason to complain.
